All residents of California With roots in the central and western regions of republic of Ghana, Recognizing the need to bond together and care for each other’s welfare in times of need and support, do hereby establish rules and guidelines for a socio-cultural Organization to be known and called Mfantseman kuw of California.
OUR VISION AND OBJECTIVES

OUR VISION :
Our vision is to edify and strengthen the Ghanaian community in California, as well as to support educational and health-related programming primarily, but not exclusive, to the central and western regions of Ghana.

OUR OBJECTIVES 
The organization would strive to improve the education of needy school-aged children in California and Ghana by providing school supplies such as used computers and text books. It would also assist to improve the health of the needy children with water-borne disease related issues.
The targeted population is children between the ages of five (5) and hteen (18) that live in California and also in the Western and Central regions of Ghana.

Mfantseman Kuw of California (MKOC) is an organization based in Los Angeles and Orange County of california in United State. It was founded on January 1st 2004 at 12:10am, and operated under a provisional executive until her constitution was approved in July 2005. Election of officers was held in October 2005, and installation of elected officers took place in February 2006.

MKOC is a non-profit, non-religious, non-political organization founded to mobilize the Ghanaian residents of California originating from the Central and Western Regions of Ghana. MKoC operates as an affiliated body under the umbrella of Ghana Association of Southern California.

“Wonsom, Wonsom, Wonye Nyimpa ” is our slogan and explained as “togetherness and unity of our people for a good course”. In this way we are able to lend support to one another and also reach out to those back home in Ghana.

Characteristic of MKOC:
Mfantseman Kuw is a non-profit social and cultural group. It shall not be a political or religious organization.

It fosters harmonious relationships among its members, form a collective front to discuss matters of mutual interest to its members and care for each others welfare in times of need and support.

It s provides a forum and pursue activities that will enhance further understanding of our cultural heritage and organizes activities to provide social entertainment for the members.

It strives to embrace all Ghanaians and other descendants of Africa, as well as any other persons who may subscribe positively to its aims.
